- 1 cup salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup flour plus additional flour
This is a very simple salt dough recipe. Mix all ingredient together in a saucepan over a low heat. Remove when rubbery, knead with flour to make it workable. Roll out on a lightly floured surface or board. Cut into shapes using biscuit cutters, don’t forget to use a straw to make a hole at the top.
Place on a baking tray and put them into the oven on a very low temperature until dried out (this can take several hours).
Once baked leave to cool, then the real fun begins!
Keep them simple by just using glitter glue to add some sparkle or paint first using acrylic paints.
When they are completely dry thread a ribbon or string though the hole
